Sotheby’s announce a Photography sale in a few weeks time, concerning portraits of Vivien Leigh taken by Cecil Beaton. The exhibition runs from the 12th of September to the 26th, to coincide with the anniversary auction of Leigh’s belongings due to take place on the 26th. The exhibition will take place at Sotheby’s London.
The third instalment of The Most Expensive Photographs Sold At Auction series sees prints from Cindy Sherman, Thomas Struth, Andreas Gursky and Man Ray, whose Portrait of a Tearful Woman sold and entered the list earlier this year.
